Medical Receptionist & Clinical Administrative Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an organized Medical Receptionist & Clinical Administrative Coordinator to support a growing U.S.-based gastroenterology practice. The role is fully remote and involves patient scheduling, prescription coordination, prior authorizations, and diagnostic service scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound patient calls, respond to inquiries, and manage appointment scheduling using eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Process prescription requests and refills through Squad Health, coordinating communication between patients, providers, and pharmacies.
• Initiate and follow up on medication prior authorizations and verify insurance eligibility.
• Schedule laboratory, radiology, and imaging appointments, and ensure results are routed to providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience supporting a U.S. medical practice.
• Proficient in eClinicalWorks (eCW) for scheduling, EMR, and prescription handling.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
