Specialty Representative - University of Houston

About the role

Amgen is hiring a Specialty Representative for University of Houston students attending the upcoming interview days. Territory will be determined later. The representative acts as the primary customer contact for demand creation, executing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products under the guidance of the District Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide current, comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate their clinical and economic benefits
• Execute Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, including branded sales messages and planned programs
• Schedule and follow up on medical educational programs and achieve or exceed sales targets
• Service and manage accounts: ensure product access, resolve or triage reimbursement issues and maintain product contracts
• Give feedback on marketing strategy, review sales activities, analyse the territory and develop territory plans with the District Manager

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, OR
• Associate's degree and 4 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a non-sales healthcare or scientific field, OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a non-sales healthcare or scientific field

• Expected annual salary of $89,880 to $121,602, depending on skills, experience and qualifications
