Specialty Pharmacist – Specialty Pharmacy Operations

About the role

Clearway Health is seeking a Specialty Pharmacist to ensure precise compounding, dispensing, and medication reconciliation for patients at Stillwater Medical Center. The role involves direct clinical support to specialty clinics and adherence to strict safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, package, and label medications with utmost accuracy.
• Conduct medication reconciliation within electronic medical records and ensure patient safety.
• Provide consultations, drug education, and counseling to patients and healthcare providers.
• Enter orders into the pharmacy management system and maintain meticulous records.
• Coordinate with physicians, providers, and third‑party insurers to streamline patient care.

Required profile

• PharmD or bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist licensure in the state of employment (or ability to obtain at hire).
• Experience with specialty pharmacy operations, including 340B program knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Experience using pharmacy management software for order entry.
• Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel.
