Spanish Teacher (Full-Time, 10‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Spanish teacher to join our school for a 10‑month term. The role involves delivering Spanish language instruction to students, using data‑driven methods to inform teaching, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Use student performance data to adjust instruction and support individual learning needs.
• Assess and report on student progress regularly.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and the principal to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Incorporate AVID strategies in the classroom when applicable.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a supportive atmosphere.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) as indicated in the job description.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership.

• Full‑time schedule: 6:50 am – 2:20 pm, 7.5 hours per day.
