Space Data Administrator

About the role

As part of CBRE & Port Tech, the Space Data Administrator provides CAD CAFM support and supervision. The role manages the process of providing services related to feasibility or standards applications, exterior design and signage, and works closely with clients and design service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the processing, documentation and tracking of exercises relating to feasibility or standards applications, exterior design and signage.
• Interface with clients on design solutions and administer reviews, seeking client approval for new projects or initiatives.
• Prepare preliminary plans and budgets, and communicate the rationale and status of standards to PMs, TMs and other stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations and training for the Project Management team and clients, and coordinate with design service providers so deliverables are accurate and timely.
• Report on the status of exercises, ensure processes are followed and auditable, and help keep design information current and accurate.
• Create stacking and blocking plans and space plans, and contribute design insight and solutions to clients.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or at least 5 years of related drafting experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with CAFM/IWMS administration.
• Oral and written English, with the ability to present and answer questions in English.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with computers, including e-mail, spreadsheets and either Google tools or Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of Revit preferred.
