SolidWorks PDM Administrator (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

Amentum's Oak Ridge Nuclear Center of Excellence is seeking a SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM) Administrator to support its nuclear projects. The role covers the entire SolidWorks PDM instance, focusing on project applications' use, implementation and improvement, and on automation processes that keep the enterprise running at the required uptime. It is a hybrid position with a strong preference for the Oak Ridge, Tennessee office.

Key responsibilities

• Test changes and fixes to the server environment before releasing them to production
• Set up SolidWorks PDM, configure software and deliverables, and maintain databases
• Configure workshare and integration, and provide project training and support
• Communicate with all personnel about operational requests for improving discipline technologies and their interaction with work processes
• Give management analytic feedback and recommendations on the state of the technology used in project execution

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience administering SolidWorks PDM
• Thorough knowledge of the SolidWorks Suite architecture and of data model analysis
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise-level engineering IT in a client-server environment
• Team player with leadership ability in delivering enterprise solutions
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• U.S. citizenship, valid driver's license, ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, and willingness to pass a pre-employment drug and background check
• Local direct hire preferred; candidates living more than 50 miles from Oak Ridge may work remotely but must visit the office quarterly and keep a secure U.S.-based workspace

Salary listed as $75,000. Regular attendance is mandatory, overtime may be required, and the role involves occasional physical activity and travel under 10%.
