Software Test Analyst

About the role

Join Cortina’s team supporting Navy Medical Modeling and Simulation programs, providing testing, documentation, and quality management for critical defense medical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, execution, and reporting of software testing across multiple projects and releases.
• Conduct weekly status meetings and coordinate test efforts among cross‑functional teams.
• Review designs and requirements to ensure adequate test coverage and maintain test cases and procedures.
• Perform software test and data analyses, evaluate results, report defects, and generate test reports.
• Provide feedback to development teams and maintain requirements traceability throughout the system lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Prior experience in software testing, quality assurance, and coordination of small teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Quality Management Systems (ISO9000/AS9100, CMMI).
• Experience with manual and automated functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Scripting or statistical languages: Python, R, PowerShell.
• Test management tools: TestRail, Azure DevOps.
• SQL for data extraction.
• Automated testing frameworks: xUnit, NUnit, Moq.
