Software Integration Engineer

About the role

The GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) for web applications, enabling on-demand access to NGA GEOINT content based on users' roles. The GxNext contract, awarded to Leidos in 2021 and running until 2031, involves supporting the Consumer Integration team in Chantilly, Virginia. You will work with global consumers of Gx services, learn new concepts and technologies, and brief both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Perform system integration and integrate services from different systems
• Troubleshoot software issues, investigate root causes and recommend fixes
• Support Authentication (AuthN), Authorization (AuthZ), Digital Policy Management (DPM), Entitlement Management (EM) and Authoritative Attributes (AuthA)
• Manage a client's integration with the services using project management skills
• Implement, evolve and support authentication, Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, federation and cloud infrastructure
• Deploy and operate secure authentication, access management and Identity as a Service (IDaaS) technologies
• Document enterprise IT architecture and navigate Linux via the command line

Required profile

• US citizenship is required; an active Top Secret security clearance is required to start, with SCI eligibility and willingness to take a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience working with external parties and excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to document processes and troubleshoot software issues

Required skills

• System integration or software development, debugging and software testing or validation
• Preferred: Oracle Identity and Access Management (IdAM) suite, OAuth2, SAML, PKI, Ansible, GitLab, containerization
• Preferred: Active TS SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD 8570 IAT Level II or SEC+ certification

Pay range: $69,550 - $125,725.
