Full Stack Developer (Software Engineer Expert)

About the role

Leidos is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a team building software that supports entitlement programs, as well as IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, attributes and digital policy management. The team serves a well-established customer whose applications are used by a wide audience. The position is based in Chantilly.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software systems, including designing and maintaining applications in the cloud, and migrating legacy applications to the cloud.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements, consult with customers on design and maintenance, and coordinate installation and monitoring of systems.
• Develop and direct software testing, validation, programming and documentation, and compile program documentation with comments.
• Debug and correct errors, adapt software to new hardware and improve performance, and revise or expand existing programs.
• Write, update and maintain programs for tasks such as inventory tracking, data storage and equipment control, and write or contribute to user manuals.
• Draw workflow charts and diagrams, and prepare detailed instructions and manuals for end users.
• Assist computer operators and system analysts in resolving program problems, and assign, coordinate and review the work of programming personnel.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing web software and with cloud services.
• Experience in Windows and/or Unix.

Required skills

• Multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python and/or XML).
• Vue or React.
• Database architecture and design.

The pay range is $131,300 to $237,350, which is a general guideline only.
