Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS & Android)

About the role

Abby Care is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms. You will create a caregiver‑first experience that works reliably in real‑world conditions, including low‑connectivity environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end mobile development lifecycle from concept through delivery for iOS and Android.
• Design and implement intuitive, guided user flows optimized for non‑technical caregivers.
• Ensure app reliability with offline‑first, caching, sync, retry, and conflict‑handling patterns.
• Performance‑tune the applications and improve stability across diverse devices.
• Define and implement a testing framework that reflects real‑world usage scenarios such as intermittent networks and background interruptions.

Required profile

• Proven experience building production‑grade mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Ability to create simple, resilient experiences for users with limited technical expertise.
• Comfort working in a fast‑moving, AI‑focused healthcare environment.
