Deployment Strategist (Mid/Senior Levels)

About the role

Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists who act as customer-facing advisors defining AI strategy, shaping agentic solutions and driving measurable adoption for enterprise customers. Working with Forward Deployed Engineers, you turn complex business challenges into agentic AI deployments that go live. Engagements are focused and time-bound, typically 12 weeks or less, and may cover a single account or several customers at once.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagement across identify, commit, deploy and consume, owning outcomes at every stage
• Define the customer's Agentic AI strategy and roadmap, lead design workshops and agent design sessions, and architect solutions across Salesforce's agentic AI platform, Data Cloud and enterprise systems with responsible AI governance
• Manage delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, risk escalation and progress reporting
• Own adoption, consumption and expansion metrics, and drive value realisation
• Partner with the Forward Deployed Engineers and coordinate delivery
• Develop customer solutions using AI-supported tools such as Cursor, Claude and Vibes
• Act as primary customer contact, assess AI readiness, guide change management and turn field insights into product feedback

Required profile

• 4+ years in strategic solutioning, technical advisory or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud or SaaS
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Prior customer-facing delivery experience (consulting, professional services or technical advisory)
• Understanding of the Salesforce platform, Agentic AI and Data Cloud
• Proven ability to lead complex, ambiguous engagements end-to-end
• Experience leading AI/LLM solution design, including agentic AI strategy and conversation design
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time to customer sites

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Java or Apex
• Project and programme management skills
• Preferred: Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce and CRM experience, platform certifications, regulated industry experience, change management background, and knowledge of NLP, RAG and model evaluation

The typical base salary range is $134,750-$287,910 annually, higher in California and New York ($148,190-$316,750); the range is base salary only. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
