Software Engineer

About the role

As a Software Engineer on a newly awarded government contract, you will design and build complex, processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithms, and cloud‑scale environments supporting national security missions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze user and system requirements to create complex software designs, performance metrics, and interface constraints.
• Design, code, test, and modify software solutions, optimizing performance and integrating components into modified operating systems.
• Develop advanced mathematical algorithms, data repositories, and database queries meeting strict timing and resource limits.
• Incorporate COTS and GOTS functionality to optimize software architecture reuse.
• Provide technical leadership, delegate tasks, select development processes, and enforce rigorous quality control.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 years equivalent experience).
• Experience ranging from entry‑level to senior (0–20+ years) on similar government contracts.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Ability to travel as required and work in standard office or client sites.

Required skills

• Java SE, Python, Git, Shell/bash scripting, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Spring Framework, Spring Tool Suite, Hibernate, MySQL, Web Services, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, JUnit, IDE environments.
• Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, GitLab CI, SonarQube.
• Agile development methodology.
