Software Engineer

About the role

Range is building an AI‑powered wealth‑management platform and needs a software engineer who can understand user problems, design solutions, and ship them quickly. You will work on production services, leveraging AI tools to accelerate development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship full‑stack features from prototype to production.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of services, including deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Use AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to improve productivity and code quality.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, and infrastructure to solve customer‑focused problems.

Required profile

• A builder who moves from problem to production without waiting for fully scoped tickets.
• Craft‑obsessed with high standards for clean, secure, and maintainable code.
• Intuition‑driven decision‑maker comfortable handling ambiguous requirements.
• AI‑native, using AI daily as core infrastructure.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python.
• Experience with React, Node.js, and full‑stack development.
• Hands‑on experience building and operating services on AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch).
• Ability to architect, debug, and ship using AI development tools.
