Cyber Incident Response Analyst

About the role

MANTECH seeks a motivated Cyber Incident Response Analyst to join its 24x7/365 cybersecurity team supporting a high‑value government target. The position is based in McLean, Virginia, works a fixed 4‑day, 10‑hour shift schedule, and offers shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Detect, monitor, and analyze cyber incidents using SIEM and other security tools.
• Respond to and mitigate incidents, documenting actions and findings.
• Provide threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and reporting.

Required profile

• High School Diploma with at least 1 year of cybersecurity experience.
• 1 year of experience in cyber incident response.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT‑II certification within six months of hire.

Required skills

• Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience with SIEM systems, log analysis, and network security tools.
