Remote Support Technician

About the role

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career‑oriented Remote Support Technician to join its 24/7 operational team in McLean, VA. You will triage, categorize, and resolve Tier 0–2 incidents, supporting IT infrastructure and mission‑critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize ITIL‑based processes to manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and demands.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, performing remote desktop repairs.
• Provide user support and basic training for common applications and productivity tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams to restore services and address complex problems.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and perform special administrative tasks while maintaining documentation and security protocols.

Required profile

• High School Diploma with 4+ years experience, Associate’s with 2+ years, or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience resolving technical problems via phone or self‑service for hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications.
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
