Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web‑based applications and distributed systems for our client in Miami. The role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable solutions while adhering to high code quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support web applications and enterprise systems.
• Write, test, debug, deploy, and maintain clean, efficient code.
• Manage website content using CMS platforms.
• Implement security measures, including encryption and secure networking.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and resolve issues.
• Follow internal development standards and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to complete projects.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to team members and external partners.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of hands‑on software development, implementation, and support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in documentation and time management.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, repositories, and branching strategies.
