Software Engineer, iOS/Mobile

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer focused on iOS/Mobile to build mission-critical applications that improve flight safety and operational efficiency. You will work in a fast-moving, hybrid team developing real-time, user-facing features with SwiftUI and Swift for a platform used by the Department of Defense and major airlines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI and modern mobile frameworks.
• Integrate complex internal and external APIs to deliver flight data and sensor information to pilots.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product designers to create intuitive, safety-critical mobile experiences.
• Maintain code quality, performance, and reliability in high-stakes environments.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with exposure to UIKit and multithreading.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with asynchronous programming (async/await or GCD).
• U.S. Person status (Citizen or Green Card) and residence within commuting distance of San Carlos.
