Software Engineer III, Mobile (Android)

About the role

Google is seeking a Software Engineer III to develop Android mobile applications. You will work on critical projects, collaborate across teams, and help shape next‑generation products for billions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Write product or system development code for Android applications.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code from other developers and provide feedback on style, testability, and efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content, updating it as products evolve.
• Triage, debug, and resolve product or system issues impacting hardware, network, or service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience programming in Java, Kotlin, or C++.
• At least 2 years of Android application development experience.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Preferred: Experience developing accessible technologies.
