Software Engineer I – Trust & Safety Platform

About the role

Join the Trust & Safety team at PlayStation to design and build scalable web applications and backend services that protect players and creators worldwide. You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, analytics, and operational tooling to improve safety and efficiency across multiplayer ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs that power moderation, policy enforcement, and telemetry platforms.
• Develop modern frontend experiences using React and TypeScript.
• Build internal moderation tools, dashboards, and analytics pipelines.
• Contribute to cloud‑native infrastructure on Kubernetes, GCP or AWS, including CI/CD pipelines and observability.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, game studios, and product stakeholders to ensure reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• Entry‑level software engineering experience (Software Engineer I).
• Passion for building secure, high‑performance systems.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, global environment.
