Software Engineer – Full Stack

About the role

Redefine Meals is seeking a full‑stack Software Engineer to join its fast‑growing team in Bay Shore, NY. You will work directly with upper management to build and maintain the technology that powers 23+ retail locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise the company database (MySQL, Redis).
• Enhance and manage the public website using modern web technologies.
• Develop and integrate POS, order‑management and other multi‑location systems.
• Collaborate with management to scope, design and ship new features.
• Identify, debug and resolve bugs across the stack.
• Improve operational efficiency through code refactoring and automation.
• Design scalable solutions to support business growth.

Required profile

• Strong experience with databases, backend development and debugging.
• Ability to work on‑site and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• Problem‑solving mindset focused on efficiency and innovation.
• Growth mindset with willingness to tackle large, scalable projects.
• General IT knowledge (hardware, networking, system architecture) is a plus.
