Software Engineer – Financial AI Solutions

About the role

River Technologies builds custom software for financial firms, working directly with engineering teams and subject‑matter experts to design and ship solutions. This position is for engineers who thrive on variety and enjoy tackling new domains rather than maintaining a single platform for years.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal experts to understand unique financial problems and design tailored software solutions.
• Develop, test, and ship high‑quality code that meets strict reliability standards for financial institutions.

Required profile

• 2+ years building software or AI applications in a financial firm or deep experience at the application layer of AI.
• Ability to quickly learn new domains, own end‑to‑end delivery, and communicate effectively with diverse clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in building AI‑enabled applications.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and meticulous attention to reliability.
