Software Engineer, Expansion (all levels)

About the role

Render is building a modern cloud platform for developers creating AI‑native, full‑stack applications. As a Software Engineer on the Expansion team you will design and build user‑facing features that make simple and complex deployments effortless.

Key responsibilities

• Build new products and tools that help larger teams manage their applications as they grow.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, engineering and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Help evolve the Render codebase and technology stack as the product scales.
• Participate in team planning, road‑mapping, on‑call duties and shape team culture.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a high‑growth startup.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to make pragmatic decisions.
• Experience working across the stack and collaborating with product and design teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Go, Typescript, React, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, Temporal.
• Strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs and databases.
• Familiarity with modern build and deployment tooling.
