About the role

Toyota Financial Services’ DevOps Department is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to build and maintain modern cloud‑native applications and platforms that enhance reliability, speed, and developer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure and platform management for cloud‑native applications to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Strengthen engineering and operations standards by advancing coding practices, development workflows, and department best practices.
• Pilot emerging technologies and innovative approaches to create highly available, resilient applications.
• Automate repetitive tasks to achieve engineering excellence.
• Support CI/CD excellence by improving deployment workflows, automation, and release reliability.
• Partner with team members to promote Agile practices, share knowledge, and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
• Contribute to team growth through recruiting, mentorship, and technical development support.
• Help shape modern DevOps capabilities across the team with a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or quantitative discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or mathematics.
• 3+ years of software experience developing cloud‑native applications and services in a modern engineering environment.
