About the role

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM / ICAM, covering authentication, authorization, attributes and digital policy management. The engineer works with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers, helping to modernize and implement industry standards while keeping IT systems secure, reliable and available.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize legacy applications
• Write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances and leverage Amazon Web Services
• Create RESTful APIs and develop Java and Angular (TypeScript) applications using Elasticsearch
• Design and use custom ETL methodology
• Perform unit testing, peer code review and automated testing such as Selenium
• Work within Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Mentor junior developers and solve technical challenges collaboratively

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
• Master's degree and 15+ years of relevant experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements and specifications
• Prior experience developing custom ETL

The pay range is $154,050 to $278,475, which is a general guideline only.
