Senior Principal Cyber Support Developer

About the role

MANTECH, a technology partner to government intelligence agencies since 1968, is seeking a Senior Principal Cyber Support Developer to join its team in Chantilly, VA or Denver, CO. The role supports key development efforts and contributes to building scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with mission needs. It is full-time and on-site, and requires a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, ensure system reliability and help maintain overall system security in a virtualized environment.
• Identify and implement best-practice solutions for complex technical problems.
• Maintain server infrastructure and perform system upgrades for consistent performance.
• Provide technical support to ensure high system availability and a strong security posture.
• Manage user access controls, deploy security patches, configure network infrastructure and automate pipelines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build solutions that meet business and mission requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of additional work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years of software administration experience.
• Experience supporting large, complex software development projects.
• Current IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP or CCNA-Security) or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to stay in a stationary position 50% of the time, with occasional movement around the office.

Required skills

• Configuring and maintaining virtual environments.
• Maintaining and managing ServiceNow instances.
• Preferred: Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, AWS EKS, Linux server administration, ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) credential, and strong diagnostic skills.

• Projected compensation range of $179,300 to $318,400, depending on experience, location and other factors.
