About the role

Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar is seeking a part‑time Social Media Marketing Specialist to boost its online presence in the New York City Metropolitan Area. You will create, schedule and publish engaging content that showcases the restaurant’s menu, events and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create, schedule and publish posts on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Capture photos and short‑form videos on‑site and edit them using mobile tools.
• Write compelling captions and monitor comments and messages.
• Respond to audience interactions promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to align content with promotions, seasonal offerings and branding guidelines.
• Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends and propose new ideas to attract guests.

Required profile

• Proficiency in social media marketing and content creation.
• Understanding of digital marketing principles, audience targeting and basic campaign optimisation.
• Strong written communication skills for captions and online interaction.
• Ability to capture and edit photos and short‑form videos using mobile devices or basic editing tools.
• Organised, reliable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
• Availability to work on‑site during key dining hours, events and weekends.
• Prior hospitality or food‑and‑beverage marketing experience is a plus.
