Social Media & Email Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media & Email Marketing Specialist to join a fast‑growing wealth‑tech Series B startup in New York City. You will shape the brand’s online presence, drive audience growth, and create high‑impact email campaigns while working alongside a team of top performers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok) and maintain a content calendar aligned with product launches and campaigns.
• Collaborate with external creative agencies to ensure all assets are on‑brand and delivered on time.
• Engage with the online community by responding to comments, direct messages, and fostering conversations.
• Identify emerging trends and translate them into relevant content opportunities.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations.
• Own the email marketing strategy using HubSpot or similar platforms, creating newsletters and campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
• Test and optimize subject lines, segmentation, send times, and content formats.
• Analyze email campaign performance and apply insights to future efforts.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in social media, email, or digital marketing.
• Proven track record of growing audiences, increasing engagement, or improving campaign performance.
• Excellent written communication with a strong sense of brand voice.
• Hands‑on experience managing at least one major social platform (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
• Experience with HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar email automation tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Self‑starter mentality, comfortable testing, learning, and adapting quickly.
