Social Media Community Manager

About the role

Letterboxd is looking for a solutions‑focused Social Media Community Manager to own and grow its online presence. You will work closely with social, editorial, community, partnerships and Video Store teams to deliver a cohesive social strategy that resonates with film and TV lovers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Social Media Producer to manage day‑to‑day activity across all social channels, adapting content for each platform and audience.
• Work in a shift‑based schedule to ensure continuous coverage, especially during festivals, awards and other high‑profile cultural events.
• Plan, schedule and publish content using social media management tools, ensuring brand consistency and platform‑appropriate tone.
• Monitor and respond to community interactions in comments, direct messages and public conversations.
• Identify and launch engagement initiatives such as discussions, promotions, contests and influencer collaborations.
• Analyse performance data to track community health, spot trends and inform future campaigns.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform changes, competitor activity and best practices to continuously improve results.

Required profile

• Passionate about movies, TV shows and online communities.
• Strong written communication skills with an ability to adapt tone to different audiences.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships with influencers and platform contacts.
