Snack Bar Staff (Seasonal)

About the role

Northgate Resorts is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its fast‑food/snack bar team at a seasonal camp‑resort. The role includes both cooking and front‑of‑house duties, providing guests with quick, friendly service in a lively outdoor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to brand recipes and food‑safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area by sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Stock and replenish condiments, napkins, straws, and other supplies.
• Greet guests, take orders, and provide recommendations based on feedback.
• Handle cash, credit, and gift‑card transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist teammates across cooking and serving stations as needed.

Required profile

• Snack Bar Cook: minimum age 16 years.
• Snack Bar Attendant: minimum age 14 years.
• Strong communication, customer‑service and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Food‑handling or safety certification may be required.
