Small Group Client Representative

About the role

HCSC is hiring a Small Group Client Representative in a flex (hybrid) role. The position ensures continued and increased growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, understanding customer needs and providing customer support. It works with customer group representatives or producers, may assist other small group client reps and is accountable for meeting departmental retention goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• State insurance license(s) or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• 2 years of customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment, or a college degree.
• Flex employees must be in the office at least three days a week; management can adjust the schedule for exigent circumstances.

Required skills

• PC proficiency or data entry experience.
• Customer service skills: evaluating customer situations, making decisions and responding quickly to questions.
• Detail-oriented, analytical and organizational skills.
• Verbal and written communication and independent decision-making.

What we offer

• Base pay range of $45,400 to $68,400, varying with skills, experience and location.
