Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Runpod is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability and resilience of its AI Developer Cloud platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve system design, observability, and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement SLIs/SLOs for critical services and conduct production readiness reviews.
• Lead incident response, coordinate cross‑team mitigation, and perform blameless postmortems.
• Design and improve monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Automate recurring operational workflows and build tooling in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Partner with engineering teams to advocate reliability best practices and contribute to architecture discussions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, reliability or production engineering.
• Strong Linux systems and networking expertise, with experience managing containerized production environments.
• Proven track record in incident response, postmortem leadership, and defining SLIs/SLOs.
• Excellent written communication skills.
