Site Procurement Specialist – Hybrid (Nuclear Site)

About the role

The Site Procurement Specialist supports Entergy’s Waterford 3 Nuclear Generation site in Killona, LA, by managing the acquisition of services and materials. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week on‑site and involves close collaboration with multiple Supply Chain and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute simple to moderately complex sourcing projects, including market price analysis and RFx processes.
• Coordinate procurement activities with Category Management, Central Procurement, Contracting, and other internal stakeholders.
• Manage supplier negotiations, claim handling, and invoice resolution.
• Serve as the primary Supply Chain contact for site‑specific customers and ensure alignment with nuclear operating standards.
• Support demand planning by interfacing with warehousing, inventory management, and capital project teams.

Required profile

• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.
• Completion of a thorough background check.
• Relevant experience in contracting, purchasing, or supply chain functions.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of contracting and purchasing processes.
• Familiarity with RFx procedures and supplier management.
• Understanding of nuclear site operating standards and safety requirements.
