Signal Integrity Engineer

About the role

The client seeks a highly motivated Signal Integrity Engineer to design and build market‑leading hardware platform solutions. The role involves planning digital PCB designs, performing simulations, lab verification, and troubleshooting signal integrity issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead signal integrity analysis for complex 36+ layer PCBs, including impedance control, loss, and crosstalk mitigation.
• Perform 2D/3D simulations (ADS, ANSYS HFSS, Sigrity) of digital and analog interfaces up to 50 Gbps.
• Develop test fixtures, conduct TDR and VNA measurements, and create custom probing solutions.
• Review critical PCB designs for signal integrity concerns and advise on cost‑performance trade‑offs.

Required profile

• 5‑20+ years of experience in high‑speed signal delivery design and evaluation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.

Required skills

• PCB design fundamentals for single‑ended and differential signals.
• Experience with signaling up to 50 Gbps, NRZ and PAM4 eye diagram analysis.
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as ADS, ANSYS HFSS, Sigrity.
• Knowledge of component models (Touchstone files) and system‑level cascading.
• Expertise in Allegro or similar layout tools and PCB stack‑up design.
• High‑frequency board material selection and flex circuit design.
• Laboratory measurement skills: TDR, VNA, and custom test fixture development.
