Shipping Team Member

About the role

Field is seeking a Shipping Team Member to join its Rockford distribution center. This full‑time, onsite position supports daily warehousing activities, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, inventory control, and timely shipment of parts to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general shipping and warehouse duties, including handling product, materials, and supplies.
• Operate material‑handling equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Use scales, barcode scanners, and labeling tools to pack and ship parts accurately.
• Read order details, manage paperwork, and respond to expedited shipping requests.
• Meet daily shipment targets across carriers (VMI, UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL).
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and contribute to SOP improvements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Polite, professional demeanor with the ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, twist, lift and carry up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Pallet jack operation.
• Use of scales for weight verification.
• Barcode scanner proficiency.
• Creating and applying shipping labels.
