Shipping Clerk – Second Shift

About the role

As a Shipping Clerk on the second shift, you will support our warehouse operations by managing order fulfillment, transportation planning, and data entry in our Warehouse Management System. You will work Monday‑Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, ensuring timely and accurate shipments for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize and communicate intercompany transfer needs.
• Identify and report customer order shortages.
• Fulfill sales orders using the transportation module.
• Print pick lists, schedule and confirm carrier arrangements (road, rail, air, sea).
• Maintain accurate ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) records.
• Adhere to safety, ISO, and company standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of shipping experience.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic math skills for calculations.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and follow written/oral instructions.
• Willingness to wear steel‑toed shoes and work in a warehouse environment with temperature variations and dust.

Required skills

• Experience with a computerized Warehouse Management System.
• Knowledge of LTL shipment routing and freight classification.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to scan picks and prepare shipments.
