Shift Manager – Restaurant Leadership

About the role

As a Shift Manager at Taco Bell in Claypool, AZ, you will lead the team during your shift, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive business results and maintain a positive restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the MIC Success Routine and prioritize customer needs to maintain consistent satisfaction.
• Oversee team members’ completion of Shift Excellence tasks and keep the restaurant clean and organized.
• Handle customer complaints promptly while preserving positive relations.
• Assist the GM with profit & loss management, cash control, inventory, and labor scheduling.
• Ensure food safety, quality, proper product rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Participate in training, provide constructive feedback, and help screen new team member candidates.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience; 3 months shift‑lead experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb and maintain attendance and punctuality.

Required skills

• Cash register operation and basic math for handling transactions.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cash security procedures, and food safety standards.
