Shift Manager – Restaurant

About the role

As a Shift Manager at Taco Bell in Green Valley, you will lead the restaurant team through each shift, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction. You will act as the on‑floor leader, handling customer concerns, coaching teammates, and supporting the General Manager on business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine to maintain consistent customer satisfaction.
• Oversee team members’ completion of Shift Excellence tasks and keep the restaurant clean and presentable.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy while managing product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive guest relations.
• Provide regular performance feedback to the GM and constructive coaching to team members.
• Assist the GM with hiring, screening candidates, and handling employee conflicts.
• Support profit & loss management through cash control, inventory, and labor oversight.
• Help with facility maintenance and uphold health and safety standards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience; 3 months shift‑lead experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Required skills

• Cash register operation and basic math for handling transactions.
• Knowledge of cash, security, inventory, and labor policies.
• Understanding of food safety and health regulations.
