About the role
The Shift Lead supports the Restaurant General Manager by running efficient work shifts and ensuring Taco Bell standards are met. You will lead a team, solve problems with a positive attitude, and help create a safe, friendly environment for both employees and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure team members complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Oversee and manage subordinate employees, providing direction and guidance.
- Stock shelves and coolers, and keep the parking lot and surrounding grounds tidy.
- Perform basic business math and handle cash transactions as needed.
Required profile
- At least 18 years old and able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Reliable transportation and ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and stoop for most of the shift.
- Strong internal promotion preference and willingness to learn leadership skills.
