Shift Lead – Production & Catering

About the role

The Shift Lead will support the Production and Catering Manager(s) in overseeing back‑end kitchen production, planning, fulfillment and quality assurance. The role also involves leading on‑site catering events and driving the catering van when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dose kitchen products, tea blends and other back‑end items while upholding Boba Guys’ core values.
• Lead the production team to ensure efficient, high‑quality output and manage inventory.
• Coordinate and execute back‑end catering production and set‑up for events.
• Assist or lead on‑site events, operate the catering van and use a personal vehicle when required.

Required profile

• At least one year of supervisory or shift‑lead experience in a kitchen or production environment.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and communicate clearly.
• Physical ability to stand 8+ hours, lift 25‑50 lb regularly and push/pull carts up to 100 lb.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean record.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Basic kitchen operations knowledge.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it.
