Shift Coordinator – Production (PA2 3rd Shift)

About the role

The Shift Coordinator oversees all associates in a designated production area during the third shift, ensuring proper staffing, workflow, and adherence to safety and quality standards at Bosch's Lincolnton Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and track associate vacation requests, approving or rejecting them to meet production needs.
• Communicate overtime announcements and coordinate the overtime schedule.
• Update and monitor daily exception reports for the time analyst.
• Post weekly absence occurrence reports on the Value Stream bulletin board.
• Oversee qualification processes, maintain the qualification matrix, and coordinate weekly payroll upgrade forms.
• Handle escalation processes related to pay topics and support investigations.
• Run and coordinate the shop floor based on production demands, guiding other associates as needed.
• Use SAP to look up materials and resolve issues, escalating to management when necessary.
