Settlement Assistant – Personal Injury (Remote)

About the role

Arvenda is seeking a bilingual Settlement Assistant to support the settlement process for a fast‑paced Florida personal injury practice. This remote position requires strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks independently.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with medical providers to verify balances and request lien reductions.
• Assist clients with settlement paperwork, issue settlement checks, and handle electronic signature requests.
• Answer incoming calls professionally, manage follow‑ups with providers and insurers, and keep cases on track.
• Verify releases with attorneys, create accurate settlement statements, and ensure funds are disbursed only after proper documentation.
• Provide estimates to case managers, maintain ongoing client communication, and create mediation spreadsheets as needed.

Required profile

• Bilingual English/Spanish (written and spoken) with experience in Florida personal injury law.
• Strong understanding of the settlement process, including lien reductions, releases, and disbursements.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and correspondence.
• Comfortable handling sensitive financial and legal information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
