Manager, ECC Contracts

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Manager for the Enterprise Contracting Center (ECC) to oversee a portfolio of contracts, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements. The role serves as the primary point of contact throughout the contract lifecycle and supports business partners and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contract lifecycle, retain executed contracts, and support quarterly business reviews, audits, and client claims.
• Review client redlines, negotiate terms, and coordinate with risk, legal, and compliance experts.
• Maintain the Contract Lifecycle Management System (CLMS) and ensure the firm extracts full value from contracts.
• Identify and implement process enhancements, mentor junior staff, and lead small projects.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience managing commercial contracts, preferably in professional services and with state or municipal entities.
• Strong understanding of various contract types (IDIQs, MSAs, STCs, prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders).
• Ability to assess contract risks, propose mitigations, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.
• Experience with modern Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and processes.
