ServiceNow CMDB Operations Developer

About the role

CACI is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Operations Developer for its Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force. The role coordinates with the Government and reports to the CMDB Operations Manager, maintaining and optimizing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in ServiceNow so that data across the CMDB ecosystem is accurate, complete and reliable. It is a full-time, regular position with a minimum Secret clearance and up to 10% travel within the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain CMDB processes and workflows in ServiceNow using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Catalog Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs and REST APIs.
• Create and run reports, dashboards and metrics on CMDB health and usage with PA and/or the CMDB Query Builder.
• Troubleshoot and remediate CMDB issues independently, including precedence and IRE.
• Run regular audits and data cleansing to keep CMDB data quality high.
• Work with other IT teams so the CMDB stays a reliable source of truth.
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases and implement new CMDB features.
• Support end users on CMDB best practices.

Required profile

• US citizen able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL, and familiarity with Agile Scrum.
• Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization.
• Desired: Axonius, HAM, SAMPro and Flexera Data Platform exposure, and DoD experience.

Required skills

• ServiceNow: ITOM Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, CI Class Manager, CMDB Data Manager, CMDB Health Dashboards, Performance Analytics, CMDB Query Builder and Service Mapping.
• At least one of: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (Data Foundations or CMDB), Certified ServiceNow Administrator or Certified ServiceNow Developer.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint.
