Service Technician - The Met at 3rd & Fillmore

About the role

The Service Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of The Met property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports resident satisfaction by addressing maintenance requests and preparing units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections and creating punch lists.
• Schedule and coordinate vendors and contractors to address identified maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, punch lists, and documentation.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality service that meets company standards.
