Service Technician – Sage (Green Valley Property)

About the role

The Service Technician – Sage will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas at the Green Valley property meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, completing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Compliance with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders and operating tools.
