Service Supervisor – Residential Property Management

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of a residential community meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes in a high‑rise, multi‑unit environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and complete repairs following company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply ordering, and final quality checks.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, common areas, and market‑ready unit interiors.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures and document outcomes.

Required profile

• Prior experience in high‑rise residential property management or a similar maintenance supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage work orders, coordinate vendors, and oversee make‑ready activities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding Greystar’s quality standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with community staff and manage inventory within budgetary limits.
