Leasing Consultant – Luxury Residential

About the role

The Leasing Consultant will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention goals for a luxury residential community. The role involves guiding prospects through the leasing process, ensuring a high‑touch customer experience and supporting lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure units are ready.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including online advertising and resident referral programs.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to company standards and prepare the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls or notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, documenting requests and coordinating resolutions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years leasing experience, preferably in a luxury or Class A residential environment.
• Strong sales and closing abilities, professional communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
