Service Supervisor – Property Maintenance

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas at Oak Street Station meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time position oversees maintenance work, coordinates make‑ready processes and manages vendor performance.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve resident service requests and perform routine upkeep in compliance with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for community appearance, grounds, building exteriors, signage and parking areas.
• Inspect work performed by team members and contractors, ensuring adherence to quality specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies within budget, and complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with experience in property‑management maintenance or a related trade.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents, team members and external contacts.
• Proficiency with basic math for financial and administrative documentation.

Required skills

• EPA Type I & II or Universal certification for HVAC work.
• Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Familiarity with property‑management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
