Maintenance Technician - Hollywood Park

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position works Tuesday‑Saturday, 9 am‑6 pm, supporting a stabilized community of 314 units.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property management.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including on‑call evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart on the property).
