Maintenance Supervisor for Independence Park

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of Independence Park, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position involves overseeing work orders, coordinating make‑ready processes, and maintaining the property’s overall appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in accordance with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies within budget, and complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 3‑5 years of maintenance experience in plumbing, painting, or related trades.
• EPA Type I & II (or Universal) certification for HVAC work and any state‑required certifications.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and working in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Plumbing and painting expertise.
• HVAC servicing with EPA certification.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience using property management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for record‑keeping.
• Basic mathematical skills for budgeting and financial documentation.
